I think this is a good beginner book. However, I also think it may cause individuals to overlook the fact that to astrologically understand aspects of people that it would be beneficial to understand more than the sun sign and to look at the entire chart.

For example the author speaks about how a Sagittarius loves, however in a professional astrology reading most likely the reader would look to what sign the planet Venus is in and dive into some of the clients houses such as their fifth and seventh house to answer that question. While I do understand that this is focused on the sun in Sagittarius, I think that stressing to the reader that there is more to astrology than the sun sign might prove helpful in encouraging a person to dive deeper into their study and to explain why some of these things may not apply.

Also in the Q and A portion the author speaks to the 13th sign and her answer seems to state that sidereal astrology incorporates this sign but to my understanding it does not.

The ancients new about Ophiuchus however astrology is a system of mathematics and the use of 12 zodiacs was most certainly purposeful.

I think that it is a great book, very insightful, and it can help people understand better themselves, or even their partners.
