Few have been a member of Donald Trump's inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship has spanned fifteen years—through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship has come to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa is finally ready to share her side of the story in this explosive, jaw-dropping account.

- (4/5)Good book with unexpected human insight on both Trump and the author. Helps to hear the author read it in her voice to connect with her own biography and experience beyond the White House and celebrity revelry.
- (5/5)I loved getting real insight on the trump administration from someone who had the audio to back up her statements. Was definitely a page turner. I finished in 2 days.

It doesn’t deliver much new insight into the administration, especially from a source relatively close to the President. The book is mainly autobiographical. The writing is mundane and not immersive compared to books in the same genre.1 persona l'ha trovata utile
- (3/5)A very close look from the inside of the Trump administration by a person who worked with Trump from his Apprentice days to his ascension to the White House. Many juicy insider gossip if you are looking for that but the conclusion is that Trump is racist and is mentally impaired now from, among other things, drinking up to eight cans of Coke Zero everyday.

I couldn't go past about a third of the book. All I could keep thinking is how naive and self absorbed is she that she can't see DT for what he really is even when everything is smacking her in the face? She does have the same look at me trait that DT has so I guess birds of a feather do flock together and put up with each others shit. I was really hoping to get more insight and feel sorry for her but I got the opposite and got more pissed at her for the way she was in denial . Like another review that I read I do believe she would still be working for him if she didn't get fired.1 persona l'ha trovata utile

I believe what she is saying about being railroaded by the administration , I dislike her ego and how much she pats herself on the back. It’s too much.5 persone l'hanno trovata utile

Clearly a person in great need of attention ~
The author proves her loyalty goes as far as the most recent pay off

You will not learn anything new. Omarosa was/is proud of her time with Trump. I get the feeling she would still be working for Trump if she hadn't been fired. Small glimpses into stuff you've already heard. Mostly she is on high holy ground. Mostly she is explaining why she continued to work and remain loyal to Trump. Despite her own observations of his character.3 persone l'hanno trovata utile

Omarosa's story has the ring of truth while at the same time being very self serving. I am pleased that she has escaped Trump world, and I hope she moves on to lead a productive life. It's a story that needed to be told even though it's not a great piece of literature.3 persone l'hanno trovata utile

The most evident aspect of this book is the gall of this woman and her sense of entitlement. She is nothing more than angry and spoiled, and this book relates as much.2 persone l'hanno trovata utile

I was never a fan of Omarosa's and I sure as hell am not a fan of Trumps. This book felt genuine and Omarosa did a great job of describing her experiences with Trump.2 persone l'hanno trovata utile

Much if the information seems to check out, but she's overly dramatic. Provides a peak behind the curtain but I could do without the over the top telling.2 persone l'hanno trovata utile

While there was definitely some useful and interesting information, I found Omarosa's apparent narcissism overpowering. She is somewhat like Trump in that she has to constantly talk about how she is smarter than everyone, more effective than everyone, how everything is about her. And she did nothing wrong - this book is an excuse for everything that the media has said about her that she didn't like. It is much more about her than the Trump White House. Lots of discussion of the Apprentice. It certainly didn't increase my opinion of her.1 persona l'ha trovata utile

Very personal and she reveals self growth. I am surprised she stood by DJT as long as she did.1 persona l'ha trovata utile
- (4/5)This was very interesting. Omarosa has been a puzzling political character and it was informative to see her side of the story. There is also a lot of background on the Trump White House, and for the most part, this book agrees although she does add an interesting perspective.
