      to many loose ends and thin plot feels like a novella stretched into a entire book ive read the whole series this is my least favorite so far

      I loved the book. Loved the story, would have preferred Phil Gigante narrate, I think this guy makes the Alpha 9 sound too old man-ish. Not sexy like they should be. And all the males sound basically the same.


      There are a few places where the continuity of these stories gets skewed.
      The hunters when spoken about in the highlander series are so different than they are as this series progresses. They start as an Unseelie Cast that is evil and hateful and then they morph into this beautiful fate altering creature that has to first be chosen to be born.
      I like it, just get hung up on the differences.

      Absolutely breathtaking. Karen Moning has an amazing talent at writing, and only continues to impress with her latest book. More of a love story than normal, but it is still filled with major action, story development, and magical lore. The story of Dani is one that most people didn’t want, but Karen showed us that we didn’t want it, we NEEDED it. Karen delves away from her main character Mac and brings fourth Dani. For most fans this was an unexpected and unwanted turn of events. We all adored Mac! Karen gave us all a major love for Dani with this book, and showed us how a strong, young girl, can turn into an Incredible, Sexy Woman. Karen has yet to disappoint, and only continues to raise the bar higher. Best book I’ve ever read. Best series I’ve ever read. Best Author I’ve ever read.

      It was difficult to get into in the beginning few chapters but eventually I couldn’t put it down. There was a lot of closure in this book but KMM Still left a few story arcs open. I don’t know how many books are left in this series but this book gave me the feeling there might not be many more. I hope there are though.

      I love Karen's Fae Fever series. Just when I think she's done, we dive head first back into her wonderfully dangerous and sexy world. Seeing Dani growing up in the books has been a heart wrenching adventure, especially within the last couple books. I was glad to see Mac get her ending, but longed to see what happened with Dani the woman. This tied things up wonderfully. Karen keeps Dani true to her character and develops even more. Ryodan match for match is a hot equal as well as compliment to her as she discovers more about herself and the relations she has with those around her. I couldn't put this down until I'd finished and am still wanting more. I'd like to see what happens with Sean and Kat, the sexy scot Christian, and more on what happened with Mac.

      SPOILERS.........I'm alright with the idea that both Mac and Dani get their happily ever afters, but I still see other characters I'd love to see get theirs; especially Christian. Love keeps his curse under control. Well c'mon give that hot Scotsman some lovin' please.

      I am in my happy place. Dani, the woman has gone through some massive trials and made some huge transitions. In the beginning it was confusing, to see a young girl suffer so and be seen as more in the future. I admit I did not like young Dani, she was a thorn to me in the story. Oh there was some serious backlash towards Ms. Moning, speculations based on her age, before the tale was finished being told. If only they'd waited they would have seen this beautiful, wonderfully magical woman finally grab ahold of her red threads and become what she was ment to be. The truth of why this obsession was there made me jump and scream "YEH!" I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, you don't need to know more.Another great book from Ms. Moning. She continues to be one of my top 5 authors, one I re-read from often. I can not wait for her next work.. Bravo Ms. Moning, you rock !
