About this audiobook
In researching this book, the authors interviewed the residents of the Japanese village with the highest percentage of 100-year-olds-one of the world's Blue Zones. Ikigai reveals the secrets to their longevity and happiness: how they eat, how they move, how they work, how they foster collaboration and community, and-their best-kept secret-how they find the ikigai that brings satisfaction to their lives. And it provides practical tools to help you discover your own ikigai. Because who doesn't want to find happiness in every day?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book was chock full of insightful themes and ways of living. As someone with ADHD I found it quote hard at times to pay attention to the narrator but this book has taken me deep inside myself. What is my Ikigai?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was beautiful! I learned a lot of valuable lessons and gained much insight, wisdom, and edification. However, I was hoping it would more directly help me discover my ikigai rather than just briefly offering the well-known ikigai Venn diagram and moving on to others’ experiences. It talked more about longevity than it did about ikigai. 80% was about longevity, at least.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book feels short, but it is packed with counterintuitive wisdom from Japanese centenarians. To live longer, move slower, eat less, exercise more gently, never retire, practice a craft, maintain traditions, and above all, find your passion or purpose in life, your inkigai.
