About this audiobook
A ruse with an old flame grows into romance.
Delphinium “Fin” Bloom returns to her hometown with one goal: get the mayor—her former flame—to approve a location shoot in Good Hope. But business turns personal when the two become entangled in a fake engagement to comfort his ailing grandmother.
For Jeremy, the romantic façade hits close to his heart. Still reeling from the way things ended between Fin and him all those years ago, he sees the fake engagement as an opportunity to get her out of his system once and for all. But instead of laying the past to rest, Jeremy quickly discovers he can’t envision a life without her.
Now engaged to another man, Fin had long ago given up on the dream of a life with Jeremy. Why is it, then, that her fake engagement feels more genuine than her real one? As the sleepy days of summer come to a close in Good Hope, will Fin and Jeremy give love a second chance? Or will the revelation of a devastating secret put an end to the fairy tale?

Jeanie has always loved to read and write. School years were spent sneaking romance novels into school when she should have been learning algebra and biology. College years were spent taking electives such as journalism and creative writing classes when she should have been taking algebra and biology. Nowadays, she's still reading and writing. She writes romances because she believes in happily-ever-afters. Not the "love conquers all" kind, but the "two people love each other, so they can conquer anything" kind. The commitment and monogamy of romance are strong values she's passing along to her daughters, who'll search for their own heroes someday. Jeanie's own romance hero is a very supportive guy, who reads fantasy and watches football and doesn't mind eating the same meal three nights in a row while she's writing. She spends her days caring for her family and her menagerie of strays, or being involved in any number of other family activities. She's got an enormous extended Italian family. Those who aren't related by blood have been adopted by love! And she writes: red-hot romances for the Harlequin Blaze series, romantic suspense for the Signature Select line and dark fantasies for Tor. Her books have earned accolades, including a Rendezvous Rosebud, Holt Medallion, CataRomance Reviewers' Choice Award, Readers and Booksellers' Best Laurie Award, National Readers' Choice Award and RT BOOKClub Reviewers' Choice Award. As far as Jeanie's concerned, she's blessed with the very best job in the world.

Reviews for Forever in Good Hope

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoy this series. Delphinium "Fin" comes home to Good Hope to get the town to agree to cancel all Christmas activities & close the town down for her boyfriends filming. She has to work closely with the mayor to get the item back on the agenda & change people's minds about the project. Too bad the mayor is her high school boyfriend, Jeremy. Each book in this series can be read as a stand alone. Reading the entire series just enhances the understanding of the town & its inhabitants. I love Jeremy's grandmother, Ruby! She's a card! What a total manipulator! Another fantastic book added to the series!
