Visions for the 21st Century was a powerful forum for religious leaders, diplomats, non-governmental organizations, and educators to present their visions for the next century.

    The interfaith assembly, inspired by the acknowledgment of the need for “the political to be informed by the spiritual”, urged the United Nations to provide a new paradigm of thought which centers on the responsibility for fostering global values of caring, compassion and tolerance.

      Most interesting and valuable thoughts on world peace and brotherhood as spoken during the United Nations 50th anniversary. Unfortunately the negative, yet enlightening, issues discussed during that meeting are still happening today.

      This is a recording of a few world leaders spewing popular rhetoric on how peaceful and unified the world should be, with a couple of prayers to deities on the side. It’s a recording the commemoration of the formation of the United Nations. A nice gesture to keep, regardless of whatever opinions exist. You should listen to this, once. Remember the words of your world leaders and hold them accountable.
