About this audiobook

Neala and Darcy have loved to hate each other since they were kids. Forced together, will they be naughty—or can they play nice?

There’s one must-have toy this Christmas, and Neala Clarke has told her niece Charli she’ll get it for her. Never mind that she’s got less than a week and it looks like everywhere is sold out. She’s promised Charli a Fire Princess doll—and Neala is a woman of her word.

Darcy Hart is a people-pleaser. So when his adorable six-year-old nephew, Dustin, asks for a particular doll at the last minute, he says yes. Luckily for Darcy, there’s one left in stock at the local toy store. Unluckily for Darcy, he’s not the only person who wants it—and his rival is the one woman who’s immune to his charms.

This can’t possibly end well for both of them…can it?

It was good. A trope I really don’t like was in here, but it was still good.

I love how L.A. Casey brings so much realistic comedy to her stories. She has the ability to make you feel involved within the fmaily dynamic and everything that happens between siblings or children and parents is so relateable that it makes the story that much more comedic.

I was laughing from start to finish, especially, with Neala and Darcy's relationship. The enemies to lovers trope is a classic and one that L.A. Casey always writes well. I wish I had read this in the winter with the Christmas story line but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of reading their story. The only nag I find with L.A. Casey's books is that the heroine can be really childish sometimes and Neala definitly achieved that at times.

There was copious amounts of humour and tension with all the right boxes ticked for a steamy romance.
