      I really enjoyed this story filled with all types of surprises in life & how a person reacts to those unexpected times.

      AUTHOR: LORRAINE SNELLING is a Romance, Historical, Fiction authorSETTING: 19th century, American west settlementCENTRAL FEMALE CHARACTERS: Her mother had died. She and her sister were left in the hands of a caring well to do family. Now after many years her father, whom she never knew was alive or dead, has sent for she and her sister to leave New York and to go to a Western settlement to collect their inheritance. CENTRAL MALE CHARACTER: No central male character. However, a host of supporting characters. FAVORITE PART: Anything involving Opal. She was a real pistol. How a woman's life can change for the better which should be an inspirational lesson to everyone and well worth the read. Fourth of July celebration.LEAST FAVORITE PART:The main character was a bit overprotective of her younger sister. Stalking of Cimmaron YOU WILL LIKE THIS BOOK IF YOU LIKE: Historical romance, 19th century, Western, Inspirational fictionWHY (3) STARSI prefer a western with emphasis on romance. I also felt that the cliff hanger to the next book was disappointing and vague.
