- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An entertaining romantic comedy by Mr. Shakespeare. Knowing the following will allow you to enjoy the play and enjoying the subplots within. Viola has a twin brother who was lost in a shipwreck. Viola dresses as a man Cesario under the employ of Duke Orsino. Duke Orsino is in love with Olivia, and sends Cesario to confess his love. As expected Olivia falls in love with Cesario (thinking she is a man). See...entertaining.
LibriVox has done another excellent job in their recording. One trademark I find with LibriVox over other versions, is the reading of the side notes in the manuscript. I find these little details make Shakespeare's plays easier to follow.
Once again, Shakespeare shows his genius. Then again, how can he not. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I’ve had calculators with more personality than some of these readers.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Funny, but so convoluted. A good chunk of it was just confusing, and the parts with Sirs Andrew and Toby just hiding in bushes or monologuing was just pointless or went on too long.
