Blossoming hope
Spring blossom is one of nature’s most glorious sights, with the fragrant flowers of hawthorn, blackthorn, wild pear and rowan now signalling new life and lifting our spirits. The National Trust (nationaltrust.org.uk) recently announced plans to plant blossoming tree circles in cities across the UK, beginning with a London Blossom Garden. It’s hoped these beautiful green displays will create spaces for hope and reflection across the nation.
