ack in 2002, when training as a TEFL teacher, I taught a class with a science fiction theme. I printed out photos of robots and aliens, handed out a simplified short story to read, and for added ambience put on a cassette of the soundtrack for 1956. Some of the class were bewildered; a Japanese student was so enthralled that I ended up giving him the tape.
