In Connecticut, the legal age for marriage is 18. Couples under 18 must have parental consent. Residency is not required, but both the bride and groom must apply for the license in the town where the ceremony will take place. Some towns will require proof of age via valid photo ID and/or birth certificate. There is no waiting period to obtain the license, which is valid for 65 days in the town where it was acquired.
