BLACKCURRANT BOOST

Having a handful of blackcurrants with your breakfast may have a beneficial effect on the post-meal glucose response (how quickly your blood sugar levels rise and fall). This is important, because over time smaller variations in blood glucose may decrease risk of diabetes. The required portion size is a lot smaller than previously thought, too, with just 75g (one handful) recommended.
