Bye Bye Birdie

For over three years, Rajya Sabha MP and his wife Sheela have been feeding hundreds of birds on the front lawns of their Lodhi Estate home in Delhi. During the lockdown, they had extended their hospitality to starving predators like black kites, who were being fed fresh chicken in their backyard. However, with bird flu making a comeback, the feasting has, for now, stopped.
