• 60cm (¾ yd) natural colour linen• 49 squares, 3 ½ in of assorted print fabrics (hexagons)• 30cm (⅜ yd) mustard print fabric (binding)• 60cm (¾ yd) print fabric (backing)• Batting at least 70cm x 125cm (26in x 49in)• 49 pre-cut 1 ½ in hexagon papers or template plastic, fine permanentmarking pen and stiff paper (160–220gsm) to make your own• Fabric-basting glue pen (optional)• Size 10 or 11 milliners needle• Fine thread in a neutral colour; Susan used Superior Bottom Line thread• Erasable fabric-marking pen• Stranded embroidery floss in black and yellow• Spray starch• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat• Sewing machine• General sewing supplies
