ne of the recent arrivals on the international MG scene is MG) run by Grup Galeria of Monterrey. Currently with six MG distributors across the country, there are aims to have 17 dealers in 11 Mexican states soon. The Mexican MG range comprises the older MG5 saloon (neither the new saloon nor the electric estate, although related to the latter) and the latest MG HS, with ZS expected to join them. MG was last on sale in Mexico in the MG Rover years (from 1933 until the company collapsed in 2005), and there was speculation then that US sales were next. Perhaps this time it could happen but it’s dependent on future Sino-American trade deals.
