IT WAS supposed to be a year of plenty. On the eve of 2020, the phrase “twenty plenty” did the rounds as everyone geared up for good things in the new year – it was such a beautifully round, auspicious sounding number, after all.
But instead it’s been a year like no other for all the wrong reasons, one filled with stress, anxiety and seemingly endless challenges. The pandemic ushered in unexpected changes that threw many people off their game – mentally, physically, financially and socially.
Jobs were lost, friends and family members mourned, finances were put under strain and relationships were put through the wringer.
