HOW CAN WE DO MORE than just post a black square? That’s the question I asked our team more than six months ago when we began planning this issue.

By June 2020, I was left reeling by the killings of, among others, Ahmaud Arbery in February, Breonna Taylor in March, and George Floyd in May. And I
