HOW TO MAKE A CLAY BOOKEND

MATERIALS

■ 1kg (35oz) white air-dry clay (we used DAS Modelling Clay)

■ Two pieces of wood, 38 x 2.5 x 0.6cm (15 x 1 x ¼")

■ Rolling pin

■ Circle biscuit cutter, 11cm (4¼")

■ Craft knife

■ Baking paper

■ Pointed blending tool

■ Medium-grain sandpaper

■ Paintbrush

■ Beige paint
