THE WORDS “Mailed from a Correctional Institution” were stamped boldly across the letter that read, “Dear Pat, Kitchenettes, Church, and Pastor.” The writer, article I’d written about women who call themselves the Kitchenettes at Calder Baptist Church who prepare lunches for our Lenten noonday services.
