Community champions fight for delivery

RON Naidoo had become tired of the lack of service delivery in parts of Clare Estate and decided to do something about it.

Other than writing to the eThekwini Municipality about blocked sewage pipes, illegal dumping and overgrown verges, among her concerns, she decided to document the filth strewn in Chiltern Drive and parts of Palmiet Road.

She also took proactive steps to clean up the suburb.

And her efforts have caught on and seen results.
