Aromatherapy… What is it?

It's the olfactory system being stimulated by the smell of plant extracts known as essential oils. Diffusing essential oils into the air can help to support one’s health and wellbeing. Examples: the smell of” Rose essential oil is soothing to the heart and calming, bringing a feeling of love. In fall and winter, the smell of a pumpkin or apple pie baking in the oven, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg releasing their aromas are especially appealing—also reminds us of relaxing by the fire, shorter days and a slowing pace.
