KNITTED BAUBLES

MATERIALS

• WOOLganic Knitters' Yarn (8ply) — 50g balls: Chilli Pepper, Gondwana, Kyoto, Raindrops, Grapefruit Moon, Sangha and Wattle (note that one 50g ball of each colour will make several baubles)
• 3.25mm (US 3, UK 10) knitting needles (both styles)
• 3.50mm (US 4, UK 9) knitting needles (Style B only)
• Two 3.25mm (US 3, UK 10) double-pointed knitting needles (i-cord hanging loop)
• Yarn needle
• Small quantity of fibre filling for each bauble

Finished size: Filled bauble diameter approximately 7cm (2 3/4in); finished hanging loop 8cm (3 1/4in)

Techniques and stitches used: stocking stitch, garter stitch, short row shaping, lifted increases, mattress stitch seam, running stitch, i-cord knitting

Style A Bauble is knitted sideways with short rows creating the shape. The contrasting trim is a single garter ridge.

Style B Bauble is knitted bottom up in stocking stitch with a centre band of stranded colourwork. Both baubles are knitted
