Each year in Australia, 38,000 persons go missing. Half of those are children aged between 13 and 17 years of age, and currently there are 2,600 long-term missing persons cases.

It’s almost impossible to find the words to describe the devastating impact this has on the families of those who have vanished – as the days turn into weeks, months and even years, the all-consuming sense of sorrow and grief never fades.
