Andrea and Evi are the Rotterdambased entrepreneurs behind a gorgeous new sex toy designed not only to bring us pleasure but to shed light on discrimination towards female wellness products, too. Launched in lockdown, Obii is soft, squishy and giving censorship the middle finger.

Tell us about Biird and how the brand was born.

ANDREA: Evi and I have worked together for years but primarily we’re friends who are massive advocates for sexual health and freedom. We’re both fully involved in the industry but kept finding there were no products that ticked all our boxes or ones that stood out for us, so we started chatting about launching our own.
