Soaring through the air on the swing, I felt like I could reach the sky.
‘Higher!’ I begged my parents, Minette and Michael.
Aged five, I loved nothing more than running amok at the local playground.
But, unlike most kids my age, I was limited to what equipment I could play on.
Born with a condition called pectus excavatum – also known as funnel chest – my breastbone was sunken into my chest.
I’d also been diagnosed with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome
