Based in New York, Steve McCurry is an internationally acclaimed photographer who is probably best-known for his iconic image ‘Afghan Girl’. In 2014 the Royal Photographic Society awarded him the Centenary Medal for Lifetime Achievement, and in 2019 he was inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame.
Like many of us around the world, Steve McCurry’s travels have been curtailed by Covid-19 – but the prolific photographer hasn’t been sitting still. The latest showcase of his work is in his new book, In Search of Elsewhere, which includes over 100 previously unseen images from his career.
