FRUCTOSE LINK TO ADHD
onditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome (ADHD), bipolar disorder and even aggressive behaviours may be linked with sugar intake and, the research finds a role for fructose, which is present in many processed foods, in increasing the risk of these behavioural disorders. Scientists believe fructose triggers a foraging response, as in starvation, and stimulates risk taking, impulsivity and aggressiveness to aid the securing of food for survival.
