Pot holder

• Main fabric: one (1) fat quarter
• Binding fabric: one (1) fat quarter
• Batting: 9in x 18in
• Insulated batting: 9in x 18in
• One (1) copy of the Pot Holder template

THIS POT HOLDER PROJECT IS A FUN WAY TO PRACTISE YOUR MACHINE QUILTING!

FINISHED SIZE

• 8in in diameter

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted.

■ Templates include seam allowances.

■ Press fabrics well before cutting.

■ Pattern by Ali Burdon.

■ Fabrics for each project supplied by Art Gallery Fabrics (artgalleryfabrics.com)

CUTTING OUT

1 From the main fabric cut:

■ Four (4) 8¾in squares.

2 From the binding fabric cut:

■ One (1) 2in x 8in.

■ One (1) 1 / in x 5¼in.

■ Two (2) 2in x 14in at a 45-degree angle for bias binding.

3 From each of the battings cut:

■ Two (2) 8¾in squares.

PIECING THE POT HOLDER

4 Place one of your main fabric pieces right side down. Place one square of each type of batting on top, then place a second main fabric piece right side
