    It’s 1985, I’m unemployed, living with my parents in Manchester and going slightly crazy. The only thing getting me through the day is my £100 1977 Honda CJ250T, and the nearby Peak District. I have a routine: ride to the nearby job centre for a dose of disappointment, then head off towards Buxton or Macclesfield and the Cat and Fiddle for a dose of freedom.

    By 2019, I had moved south for work and been through 19 bikes since the Honda, but never returned to my beloved Cat and Fiddle. Myself (NC750X), Wellsy (KTM 1090 Adventure) and Mike (V-Strom 650) decide
