Black History Month starts on 1 October and I think it’s great, as it’s important to educate and raise awareness about different parts of black history.

For those who don’t know about the issue – and there are a lot who don’t – it’s a good introductory month, but it’s not final. We don’t disappear after that month; we’re still here, contributing to Britain.
