1 ‘A Slice of Orange’ by Paul Steele
“Isolating at home with my Canon EOS 90D, I wanted to try something I hadn’t done before: dropping orange slices in some water. I only had a small 10-inch tank. I set the camera to its 10fps burst mode and my flash to 1/64 power to freeze the splashes. With my camera on a tripod and remote control in one hand, I tried to time releasing the shutter just before the orange slice hit the water, but it was almost impossible, so I ended up with several hundred images after dropping the orange slice around 20 times. I was pleased that I did end up with a few usable shots – and lots of spilled water.”
