As soon as operations in South Africa’s legal tobacco value chain settle down following the recent lifting of the ban on the sale of tobacco products during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Black Tobacco Farmers’ Association (BTFA) intends to find out how its members will benefit from recent price increases for legally sold cigarettes.
