Choosing and modifying an A-series cylinder head

Engine performance plays a significant part in distinguishing a sporting car but what was considered high performance at the time of manufacture is often rather mild by the standards of today. The performance of all MGs can be improved by varying degrees which not only makes them more interesting in their own right, it can also help with current day traffic demands.
