Olaf Chedzoy, founder of the Alpha Group of Writers

Olaf Chedzoy died peacefully at his home on the 28 January – 16 years after founding the Alpha Group of Writers, writes Christine Genovese.

Olaf met Jonathan Telfer of in 2004 and they discussed Olaf’s idea of starting an email-based writers’ group. This was something of a pioneering venture at the time but Jonathan saw its potential and offered a to invite interested writers to get in touch with Olaf.
