ANYONE who has ever been to Belgium will know that this small European nation – less than half the size of Scotland – loves its Land Rovers. You’ll find them everywhere, but being a Land Rover owner in Belgium isn’t easy, as Filip Herman will tell you.

Filip, 40, from the town of Ninove, is the owner of the stunning Defender 110 double cab pick-up (DCPU) you can see on these pages, but the effort of getting it into this jaw-dropping condition was achieved against the odds.
