For Joey Bauer, accountability started with the whiteboard hanging on the wall of his residence hall room at ASU’s Polytechnic campus in Mesa. With a glance in the morning, Joey would be reminded of his daily to-do list: everything from class projects to club meetings and campus job shifts. Balancing his studies as an engineering student in Barrett, the Honors College with a full plate of activities outside the classroom, he found writing upcoming tasks and deadlines on a dry-erase board worked best.
