STELLA, POST OFFICE BATTLE HEADS TO COURT

The fight between the SA Post Office (Sapo) board and Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has claimed two scalps and will now play out in court. In a latest twist, former Sapo chairperson Colleen Makhubele has instructed her lawyers to challenge Ndabeni-Abrahams’ decision to remove her from her position early this month.

City Press has learnt that Makhubele instructed her lawyer Victor Nkwashu to file court papers challenging the decision to have her demoted.

In a letter sent to Ndabeni-Abrahams on Friday, Nkwashu demanded the recording of the special meeting in which the minister instructed Makhubele to vacate her position.
