My passion for collecting has given this room character

Taking on a four-bedroom 1970s house which needed updating in Hampton, south-west London, five years ago, Zoe Vannozzi and her husband Tom left the living room until last. Although ample in size, there were several aspects they needed to tackle to make the room their own. ‘We were attracted to the house because of the size of the rooms and the space and light. We lived in Australia for years and we couldn’t bear the thought of small, cramped rooms.’ The large sitting room had space for
