Q How do I go about making cards for a children’s charity – do I need to hold my own event, or will the charity sell them for me?

Making cards for charity is a fulfilling use of your hobby, and there are a few ways you can do it. You can sell your cards at fairs, markets or online and donate the proceeds, or you can donate the cards to the charity to sell. Either way, your best bet is to contact your chosen charity and they will advise you on how to go about fundraising. Charities have regulations to follow and, once approved, you may need to sign an agreement that outlines the details.
