Greener BY DESIGN
After more than a decade living in a traditional stone cottage in the Shropshire village of Much Wenlock, Paul Weeden and Rosemary Corke decided that the time was right to tackle their first self-build. While the pair loved their characterful home, it couldn’t be denied that it came with several problems. “Since we bought the property in 1999 it had flooded three times. It was also cold in the winter and difficult to heat,” recalls Paul.
