Llangollen’s five-year plan to ‘future proof’ railway
THE Llangollen Railway (LR) has unveiled a plan by independent consultants which suggests ways to secure the future of the line over a five-year period. Commissioned by the LR with grant assistance from Cadwyn Clwyd, the local rural development agency, the plan looks at all activities carried out by the LR Trust and its trading arm, Llangollen Railway plc.
