Walking out onto the sports pitch, I spotted some lads staring at me and laughing.
Feeling self-conscious, I smoothed down my short skirt.
‘The cheerleading squad clearly doesn’t have a weight limit,’ one sneered as the rest sniggered.
Blinking back tears, I plastered on a smile and joined the rest of the squad.
But inside, I was dying.
