Light at the end of the tunnel

As with other businesses, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have hit caravan manufacturers hard, but Conqueror’s Philip de Vries says he believes the local caravan market should recover quickly.

Before level 3 went into effect, Conqueror was only allowed to have half its factory staff on site to keep production going. And, because of the curfew, they couldn’t even consider working shifts for increased production. The good news is that the vast majority of local caravan manufacturers – including Conqueror – were able to retain all their staff.
