The Man Who Rewrote Hollywood

It was a bold move, even for one of the most daring and prolific creatives in the entertainment industry. Ryan Murphy, the legendary creator behind a string of smash hits including Glee (2009) and the American Horror Story anthology has rewritten Hollywood’s history to center women, queers, and people of color.

The gay producer and writer of the cult fave (1999) went on to create , the groundbreaking series that features trans, but Murphy has worked his entire career to bring marginalized people into focus. And he’s just getting started.
