BEEF CASSEROLE WITH CRUNCHY POTATO TOPPING

SERVES 6 PREP AND COOK: 2 HOURS, 30 MINS

1.5kg beef blade steak, trimmed, cut into 4cm pieces
2 onions, finely chopped 785g jar Dolmio Extra Tomato, Onion & Roast Garlic Pasta Sauce
2 cups frozen carrot, peas and corn 750g packet frozen Birds Eye Golden Crunch Potato Gems

1 Heat 2 tblsps olive oil in a flameproof casserole dish (16-cup capacity) over a high heat. Add beef in three batches. Cook, turning occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until browned all over. Remove.

Add onions to same dish over a medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until soft.
