“THE concept of helping people has always been close to my heart, and I practise it every single day through my job,” says Michaela Mallet, who always wanted to be a businesswoman. Little did she know her home-based company would soon operate in major cities of Gauteng.

“I started Goseame (meaning ‘Everything is well’) inover 50 people show up at my house with countless amounts of peanut bu›er, jam, polony, mince, cheese etc. which we used to put together 1 000 sandwich packs. I was fortunate enough that I managed to raise over R10 000 towards the project from random community members. This enabled us to fill each sandwich pack with chips, sweets and cold drinks for all the kids we would be visiting.”
