MAKE A SUMMER ALTAR
Witches love an altar – but it’s always important that our altars represent the season we’re in and are decorated appropriately. Roses are the flower of June, so they’re a popular choice for summer altars – however, red, pink or yellow only as we never pick anything white from nature. That colour belongs to the Goddess and it’s considered extremely bad luck to bring anything white into the house such as white lilac or white heather, despite its beautiful aroma.
On our altar, we would also have an image of a fairy or any other elemental being of nature, as June in particular is filled with the elemental energy of the fae,
