■ American Blues Theater in Chicago has named Andrea Stolowitz the winner of the 2020 Blue Ink Playwriting Award. Stolowitz will receive a $1,250 cash prize and a staged reading of her winning play, Recent Unsettling, as part of the Blue Ink Playwriting Festival. Finalists, who will also have their work featured during the festival, are by Kristoffer Diaz, by Gina Femia, and by R. Eric Thomas.
