Nature or nurture? It’s a fascinating debate, and no doubt one that will rage until the end of days. But on this particular day we present to you a case firmly rooted in the nurture camp.

Dave Custance grew up watching his dad, Rob, convert Type 25s, and later a T4, into Campervans for the family. Following a feature in an issue of VWt, prompted in part by Dave’s friendship with photographer, Matt Woods, Dave’s world changed and he himself became the converter.
